Hardware Features

Feature | Description |
---|---|
Extension Headers | 5 groups in total, main channels for connecting peripheral boards |
Terminal Block | TypeC PD output voltage, selectable output voltage up to 20V |
LED Screen | Status display screen |
Left Button | User-controllable button |
Right Button | User-controllable button |
Status Light | User-controllable LED light |
Note
If users need to output voltage higher than 5V at the terminal block, please ensure that the power source supports USB TypeC PD protocol and provides other voltages. PD protocol supports 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V. Please select voltage through the creative box console and check the output status.
Pin Information
Pin | Description |
---|---|
Pin 0-19 | 20 signal pins in total, each pin can be controlled individually through API. 3.3V level, each pin provides maximum 40mA current. |
5V | Each header group has one pin providing 5V drive voltage, maximum 3A current. |
3.3V | Each header group has one pin providing 3.3V drive voltage, maximum 1A current. |
GND | Each header group has one ground pin |
Green Terminal Block | If using TypeC PD protocol supported voltage, you can select to output 5V/9V/12V/15V/20V at this terminal block, maximum 100W power. |
Other Functions | "led" represents the green status light on the creative box, "left" represents the left button, "right" represents the right button. You can control the status light, left button and right button when using the API. |

Each header group has seven pins. The first three pins can provide 5V or 3.3V power, and the remaining four pins provide data communication. Please pay attention to the pin connection numbers when using and operating.
Note
Pin information is also printed on both sides of the creative box case, but due to space limitations, only the first four pins of each header group are shown. Users can infer the subsequent pin numbers from this.
LED Screen Information

Row | Description |
---|---|
1 | In connection mode, this field displays the name of the connected router; in hotspot mode, it displays the name of the hotspot router. |
2 | IP address, you can enter this IP address in the browser to access the creative box console. |
3 | Current time information. |
4 | Terminal block output voltage value. |
Platform Console
When a mobile phone or computer is connected to the same network as the platform, users can access the platform console through a browser, then load or access various peripheral applications.
Please enter your platform's corresponding IP address in the browser's address bar. The IP address will be displayed on the LED screen.
Click the Manage Applications button to load or delete frontend applications. Click Configure Platform to modify the platform's configuration information.
